Ehren Eksteen qualified as a medical doctor at the University of Pretoria in 2001 when he finished the 6-year MBChB-degree at the University of Pretoria. He then worked as a medical officer in paediatrics at Tygerberg Hospital (2004) and in general surgery in Rob Ferreira Hospital, Nelspruit 2005 – 2007 before accepting a training post at University of Pretoria in 2008 to become a Plastic Surgeon. He completed the Fellowship of Plastic Surgeons’ final exam in November 2012 and entered into private practice at Montana Hospital in Pretoria.Â
